Aircraft Spins Wildly into Palm Fronds at Popular Southern California Beach
An aircraft flying over a popular coastal beach abruptly began spiraling wildly, eventually losing altitude and smashing into a cluster of palm groves as onlookers observed.
Recordings uploaded on social media show the helicopter beginning to twirl near Huntington Beach then falling in the direction of the border of the beach, where it gets stuck among palms and a staircase adjacent to the Pacific Coast highway.

Emergency responders reported five individuals were rushed to the hospital including two individuals who were in the aircraft and were “rescued from the debris” subsequent to the crash on Saturday.
Three people on the road were hurt. Information on their wounds were not immediately available.
What led to the incident was not yet disclosed.
